Street Art Mentoring with Blender Studios
Each year we join forces with Signal to engage a group of 25 young people in our world-class street art mentoring program. Throughout the week the particpants get to learn everything from stencils, freehand spray painting, signwritting, urban scultpural street installations, guerilla gardening and more.
The young people get the oppurtunity to work with some of Melbourne's most elite street artists to produce a body of work spanning various mediums. This year the students were lucky enough to have artists such as Luke Presto, Brian Itch, Junky Projects, Darcy 'Caper' Savage, Sebastian Fransz and Christopher Hancock to name a few providing them with incredible insight into street art culture and working alongside them to develop their skills.
The young people this year were all incredibly talented and produced some amazing work! Along the way Clint Cure made this little film for us, documenting the progress.
Thanks again to Signal for making this possible! Check out the article in CBD news here, and check out our photos and video below.
