AFL Season at District Docklands

With the AFL season in full swing, we found ourselves down at the District Docklands but this time to create some pre- and post-game fun with larger-than-life portraits of these famed footy players! Thanks to District Docklands and AFL, we painted 5 portraits across two hoardings. The football players included: Dustin Martin (Richmond Football Team) Eddie Betts (Carlton Football Team)

Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs Football Club) Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (Essendon Football Club) Luke Davies-Uniacke (North Melbourne Football Club)

Using aerosol spray, roller and brush, lots of technical skill was involved in executing this mural, especially in the tonality of the muscles, the likeness of the portraits, and of course at the challenging scale of 16x4m!
